YOUNG MAN’S LAPSE.
STOLE CAR BATTERY. RESTITUTION ORDERED. ; MAGISTRATE’S ADMONITION. [By Teiegrapn.—Fress Association] AUCKLAND, April 13. When Douglas Jiaig Bone, motor mechanic, aged 18, who had lust week admitted the theft of a car battery, promised Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday to keep out of trouble in the future, the magistrate adjounrned the case for three mon'.lis and ordered the youth to make restitution amounting to 10/-. The youth, who had not beer, in trouble before, was told that if lie kept “straight” the magistrate did not want to see him again.
