General inference:' An anti-cyclone covers most of New Zealand, with its centre to the east, but a slight westerly disurbance is beginning to.cross the South Island.
Forecast: Light to moderate easterly winds, later turning to north-easterly. Weather fair to cloudy and mild. Seas moderate to rather rough.
