THE STRACHANS CUP

The Thames Cuii Club held its final shoot for tlio season on Saturday. Weather conditions were good and there was a large attendance. The principal event, a contest for tho Stratchans Cup. resulted in a tie between T. Elliot and a promising young shot in E. Loinas. In the shoot-off, Loinas won on the loth liird. Results: Eye-opener, 7 Birds.—J. Darlington (possible) 1; T. Elliot. 10. Loinas and A. McLean (<i birds) -. Strachans Cup, 10 liirds.—E. Lomas 1, T. Elliot 2, J. Darlington 3.
