FINAL FOR SEASON.
THE STRACHANS CUP
The Thames Cuii Club held its final shoot for tlio season on Saturday. Weather conditions were good and there was a large attendance. The principal event, a contest for tho Stratchans Cup. resulted in a tie between T. Elliot and a promising young shot in E. Loinas. In the shoot-off, Loinas won on the loth liird. Results: Eye-opener, 7 Birds.—J. Darlington (possible) 1; T. Elliot. 10. Loinas and A. McLean (<i birds) -. Strachans Cup, 10 liirds.—E. Lomas 1, T. Elliot 2, J. Darlington 3. First Uiiiierack, 7 birds. —J. Darlington (I,'i to L's yards) and E. Thornton (l.'i to 25 yards) divided; E. Loinag (12 to -'4 yards) 2. 7-Bird Sweep.- —.1. Darlington (possibel) 1; L. Elliot, E. Tliornton and E. Loinas (6 kills) 2. Second Ohm-rack, (i birds.—J. Darlington (l.°> to 25yds), A. McLean (13 to 25yds), J. Donnelly (13 to 25yds). and S. Davey (12 to 24yds) shot tho l>ossil»le. In the shoot-off Darlington and McLean divided.
