MR. AND MRS. J. THORN.
LEFT THAMES TO-DAY. Mr. J. Thorn, M.P., and Mrs. Thorn left Thames to-day for Auckland, whero they join the Awatea for Sydney this evening. At Sydney, Mr. and Mrs. Thorn will join the Strathaird and travel to England via Suez. The Strathaird is due at England on May 27, and the International Labour Conference, to which Mr. Thorn is a delegate, will open at Geneva on June 4.
During Mr. Thorn's absence, the Hon. E. Dye, M.L.C., of Waihi, will attend to his constituency work.
