TWO NEW VERSES. WELL-KNOWN HYMN. "EVERY PERIL OF THE AIK." "A new hymn-book to bo issued by the Protestant Episcopal Church of America will add two new verses to 'Eternal Father, Strong to Save'," says a writer in the Star (London)., "They will bring the hymn up-to-date by references to dangers by land and air as well as those at sea. TRo verse for air travellers will read: — 0 Spirit, whom the Father sent, To spread abroad the firmament; 0, wind of Heaven, by thy might, Save all who dare the eagle's flight, And keep them by Thy watchful care From every peril of the air. "The hymn Avas composed by Dykes in 1801. I gather that the new lines are the work of Dr. Jenkias, Bishop of Nevada."
