LONELY VOYAGER
GERBAULT TO STAY AT HOME
The Echo de Paris anounces that M. Alain Gerbault, the French yachtman, who for years has voyaged single-handed about the world, is growing tired of his loneliness. He wil shortly arrive at a French harbour at the end of a four years' voyage in his yacht, Firecrest, after which lie will abandon his adventurous excursions. M. Gerbault sailed from Marseilles in September, 1932, to the Marquesas Islands, arriving there in January, 1934. He had made previous voyages singlehanded in the Pacific.
