ENGLISH MEAT SHIPMENTS. MUTTON AND LAMB. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Boiird is advised by cable l'rom its Lou don ottiee that the shipments of meat from Australia, .South America and South Africa to the United Kingdon (Turing the first half of July, 1937, wcras follows: Australia. —Carcases mutton, 37,302 lamb, 67,788; quarters beef, (frozen) 85,475, (chilled) 9,191. South America. —Carcases mutton, 2,440; lamb, 21,673; quarters beef (frozen) 408, (chilled) 131,878. South Africa (including Southern Rhodesia). —Quarters beef (chilled) 4,805. The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the first haL of July were as follow: —Carcases mutj ton, 128,769; lamb, 660,011; quarters beef (frozen) 13,459, (chilled) 12,494.
