South America. —Carcases mutton, 2,440; lamb, 21,673; quarters beef (frozen) 408, (chilled) 131,878. South Africa (including Southern Rhodesia). —Quarters beef (chilled) 4,805. The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the first haL of July were as follow: —Carcases mutj ton, 128,769; lamb, 660,011; quarters beef (frozen) 13,459, (chilled) 12,494.
