(By Telegraph—Press Association) NELSON, Sept. 14.
Mr. D. R. Park, president of tho Motueka Airport Construction Branch of the Ngav Zealand Workers’ Union, has issued the folloAving statement arising out of A’arious Press articles concerning the Motueka dispute:—
“I feel it my duty to publish a statement on behalf of the Motueka branch. We appreciate the supporting attitude of our felloAV Unions in our dispute, but there is one point I Avould like to correct, as i,t may cause a certain amount of misunderstanding. After a perusal of my Union’s minutes and correspondence, I find that there is nothing to indicate that any official of member of this Union has been victimised and discharged through this dispute, that is, otfc“v than normal shortening of hands through Avork nearing completion.”
