EXPRESSION OF APPRECIATION
The following letter has been received by the Thames Borough Council from Mr. -J. Thorn, M.P., in connection with the visit of .Mr. P. C. Webb, Minister for Mines, to Thames last week :
“1 would be glad if you would convey to the local authorities associated in the welcome to the Hon. Mr. P. C. Webb, Minister Tor Alincij, and to all others concerned' my very sincere thanks for the iricndly and generous reception accorded him during his recent; visit. Mr. Webb has expressed to me his pleasure at the kindness and hospitality of all whom lie met in Thames, and I feel 1 ought to convey this to you. “I trust that .Mr. Webb’s visit will lead to substantial improvement in Thames and the district.”
