SCHOLARSHIP AWARD,

YOUNG TARANAKI FARMER. It is announced by the New Zealand Dairy Exporter that the first of its . 100-guinea Massey College scholarships has been awarded to Mr. R. P. Andersen, of Bell Block, New Plymouth. Mr. Anderson, avlio is 22 years <d. age, is a son of Mr. Anders Andersen, a well-known farmer in the district. He received his primary school education at New Plymouth, and for three years attended the New Plymouth Boys’ High School. The Dairy Exporter scholarships are valued at 100 guineas each, and the winners receive full board and tuition at Massey College for a twoyear course in dairy farming, covering both practical and theoretical work.
