Jamming Of IZB Station. HON. F, JONES’ REPORT. INSTRUCTIONS FOR BLOCKAGE. (Special to “Star.") WELLINGTON, Jan. 10. A sensational disclosure is involved in a statement by the Post-master-General, the Hon. E. Jones, following the investigation into the circumstances under which IZB, the Friendly Road radio station at Auckland, was prevented from broadcasting just before the general election. “I iind as the result of inquiries into the jamming of 1ZB,” said Mr. Jones, “that it has been established that instructions were issued by responsible authorities under tho direction of the former PostmasterGeneral to take the steps which were adopted to put the station off the air on that occasion.”
