j Sir Cecil Day, official secretary to the Governor-General, who came to New Zealand 25 years ago as assistant-private secretary to Lord Islington, has been granted leave of absence in order to visit England. He leaves with Lady Day on May 10 and expects to be absent till the end of the year. —P.A. . ,
