THE DAWN OF HOPE. The manager of the Dawn of Hopo mine, Thames, reports: "In the stope of the hangingwal] of the Golden Age reef, men have been engaged in stripping the reef for the full length of the stope. The ore will be broken down next week, and as soon as the battery is ready crushing of the ore will commence. The timbering of the main rise will be finished by the end of the week."
