MONETARY INQUIRY. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE VIEW. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Sept. 19. Only about one minute's attention was given by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce last night to the. report of the Parliamentary Mone-. tary Committee when it came up foi, discussion. "I move that it be put; in the wastepaper basket," said Mr:. Stronaeh Paterson. "I oppose that we pay 1/9 for it." The president, Mr. D. J. McGowan, said the cost of the inquiry was about £SOO.
