SECOND RACE YESTERDAY. i THREE MORE WINS NEEDED. " * — 4 (Press Assn.—Extraordinary), VANCOUVER, Sept. 17. The British challenger for tho America’s Cup, Mr. T. 0. M. Sopiwith’s yacht Endeavour, beat Rainbow, the defender, in the second contest yesterday. (The first race on Saturday was declared “no contest” owing to neither boat completing the course within the time limit of 5£ hours. When the race was called off Rainbow and Endeavour were both almost becalmed, the American yacht being within half a mile of the finishing line and a mile ahead of* tho British challenger).
