£250 Reward.
RUAWARO MURDER. MONEY TO BE DISTRIBUTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Sept. 17. Consideration of the allocation of the reward of £250 offered for the detection of the Ruawaro murderer is now being undertaken by the Police Department. The Minister for Justice, Mr. J. G. Cobbe, said favourable consideration had been given to the matter and suitable apportionment of tho reward was now being dealt with by the Department. POLICE TO BENEFIT. MEN ENGAGED ON INQUIRY. (By Telegraph—Press Association). AUCKLAND, Sept. 17. It is learned that certain detectives and uniformed police engaged in the investigation of the Ruawaro murder last year are to be rewarded, and that the Police Department is apportioning £250 among them.
