FIVE-A-SIDE TOURNEY. THE LABARRE CUP. RETAINED BY C.O.G. j On Saturday afternoon, at the Thames South School court, tho Thames Hauraki Basketball Association held its annual five-a-side tournament for the Labarre Cup. The success of the C.O.G. B team enabled the club to retain the trophy. All the games Avere fast and exciting, especially the semi-finals and final. Extra time had to be played in the C.O.G. A v. C.O.G. B and C.O.G. B v. Baptist A matches, tho scores at the call of time in each caso being 3-all. Results: — First round: C.O.G. A 7 a\ Children of Mary 4; C.O.G. C 7 v. Tui 3; Baptist B 3 v. Turua A 2; Baptist A 9 v. Turua B 1; C.O.G. B 8 v, Turua C 0. Second round: C.O.G- A 6 v, C.O.G. C 2; Baptist A 3 v. Baptist B 0; C.O.G. B a bve. Semi-finals: C.O.G. B 4 v. C.O.G.
