THE TESTS BY RADIO.
AUSTRALIAN ARRANGEMENTS. VACUUM OIL CO.’S ENTERPRISE. Arrangements have been made by the Vacuum Oil Company Pty., Ltd., in conjunction with other radio advertisers in Australia, to broadcast a ball-by-ball description of the five Test matches in England, through certain Australian B class radio stations. Full particulars of times, etc., are contained in a fixture card of the complete tour, which will be available to those interested at garages and service-stations. The Australian radio stations concerned are: 2UW Sydney, 3DB Melbourne, 3HA Hamilton (Victoria), 3SH Swan Hill (Victoria), 4BC Brisbane, SAD Adelaide, 6IX Perth. On the opening night' of each Test match the broadcast will commence at 9.30, and on other nights at 10, and will continue until 5 a.m. (all New Zealand times).
