Claims To Fortune.
INQUIRIES IN NEW ZEALAND
It is said that a fortune of £1,000,000 fx*om the estate of a Mr. Walsh, of Chicago, awaits New Zealand claimants. Among these claimants are the descendants of one Charles Crawford, a pioneer who came to New Zealand on the Philip Laing in .1848. It is known that Mr. Crawford resided on the Otago Peninsula about IS6O-75, but little is known of his movements since that period. Messrs. Baylee and Brunton, solicitors, Dunedin, are making inquiries on behalf of certain descendants, and anyone knowing anything of the said Charles Craxvford or his family connections is asked to communicate with them immediately.
