MOVE IN AUSTRALIA.

REGULATING SHIPMENTS.

(A. and N.Z. Cable).

SYDNEY, Nov. 31. The Australian Dairy Produce Export Board is to hold ; a special meeting on Tuesday in Melbourne to discuss means of checking the slump in butter .prices. As the current price of Australian butter in London represents a fall of £l3 to £ls a ton in 11 days, proposals will be submitted for the regulation of shipments. Also it is proposed that butter shall not be sold to London at the present prices. The board considers that as much butter could be sold to London at 80/- a cwt. as at 70/-, the latter being tlffi present quotation. However, the board does not seek to determine the .price above 80/a cwt. unless the market of its own free will goes beyond that level. ’ ,
