Sign-posting Peninsula Roads. The local representative of the Automobile Association reports that the Association's sign-posting patro passed through Thames to-day for thpurpose of sign-posting the roads on the Coromandel Peninsula. The patrol will erect signs, including "one-way bridge" signs between Thames and Port Charles, via Coromandel and Colville, and between Coromandel and Tapu, via Mercury Bay and Coroglen. These signs will be of considerable assistance to motorists using the peninsula roads, and will'tend to reduce the risk of accident to the minimunrl '• u
Motions of Condolence. Motions of condolence were passed by the Thames Hosnital Board yesterday with Miss Rowe in the death of her father, Mr. John Rowe, for many years a member of the Board; with Sir James Parr, an old Thames boy and former Minister for Health, in the death of his wife, an old Thames girl; and with the relatives of the late Sister I. Davies, to whose sterling character and loyal service the chairman, Mr. W. B. Hale, paid a sincere tribute.
