MR. SIDNEY HAGUE-SMITH
The death at Auckland yesterday of Mr Sidney Hague-Smith, in his sixty-third year, severs another link with the early days of Thames. Born in the town, deceased was the eldest son of the late Mr John Hague-Smith, a well-known business man of Thames of that period. After leaving school, he entered the employ of his father, at whose death he took over the Thames branch of the business, later sol'ing to the Hauraki Stores Company. The late Mr Hague-Smith was one of the founders of the Thames Bowling Club, and Avas an active member till his departure about 12 years ago; He is survived by his widow and a grown-up family.
