TO-DAY’S PRICES. , (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) 'AUCKLAND, Dec. 11. Messrs. A. Bucldand and Sons, Ltd., report that to-day at Westfield they penned 391 head, comprising 289 steers, 102 cows and heifers, as compared with 267 last Wednesday. The entry included many lines of really prime steers. There was keen demand throughout with values very firm at last week’s quotation. Extra choice ox sold to 42/-_per 100 lb; choice and prime, 39/- to 41/-j ordinary and plain, 36/- to 38/-; prime young cow and heifer beef, 35/ to 39/-;' ordinary cow, 30/- to 34/; extra heavy prime steers ranged from £l6/10/- to £l7/7/6; heavy, £ls to £l6/7/6; lighter, £l3 15/- to £l4/17/6; light, £l2/10/- tot £l3/12/6; unfinished and small, £lO 12/6 to £2/7/6; eYctra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £O/10/- to £ll 12/6; heavy, £9 to £lO/7/6; lighter, £7 10/- to £B/17/6; other cows, £5 to £7 7/6,
