At the close of the Thames County Council yesterday the chairman took the opportunity of wishing the councillors, staff, and Press the compliments of tne season, 'these were heartily reciprocated, . ’
Frior to the business of the. meeting of the Thames County Council yesterday the chairman paid a tribute to the memory of the late Mr. Robert Cox. Both as a councillor' and as a man he was highly esteemed in the district and he felt that in the death of Mr. Cox he had lost a personal and. valued friend. The late Mr. Cox’s moral worth and "high character was well known. The Council carried a resolution of sympathy, with the relatives of Mr. Cox.
