NEW (SECRETARY APPOINTED. MR V. T. DIBBLE, OF AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.V AUCKLAND, Dec. 10. Mr V. T. Dibble takes up the duties of secretary of the Manawatu Racing Club in a few days, succeeding the late Mr J. M. Johnston. Mr Dibble is a qualified accountant and has been assistant-secretary to the Auckland Racing Club since 1921. He acted as secretary during the illness of Mr W. S. Spence in 1924-25. Mr Dibble, although only 31 now, went to the war with the 17th Reinforcements at the age of 17, and lost a leg at Messines.
