SHELTER REFUSED.
ALLEGATION AT TITAHI BAY.
WRECKED FISHERMEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 9. In the height of the storm in an nearly hour of last Wednesday, the 45ft fishing .launch, Sicilia, with five men, =all Italians, aboard, was washed at Titahi Bay. The crew shore like drowned rats and •nought shelter at the boarding-house. After they had knocked for some ■ttime it is stated the door was opened :;arid slammed in their faces.
After a further effort they went across to the post office store and liere they were given shelter and made ■comfortable. \ The launch and crew belonged to Island Bay. x
