REMOVAL OF A HOTEL.
APPLICATION REFUSED.

The Licensing Committee heard the application of''Harry Burrows for the removal for the licence of the Post Office Hotel, which was recently partly destroyed by fire, and the site of which has been acquired for a new theatre, to a' Bite in King Street. Tlie chairman stated that the committee considered the proposed site unsuitable, and also that another hotel was not required in the neighbourhood. The application was refused.
