MEETING OF EXECUTIVE,
A meeting of t!ie Thames-Haurakl Hockey Association’s executive was hold last evening, the attendance being poor. The draft balance sheet in connection with the visit- of the Australian hockey team, was presented and approved and a satisfactory state of finances shown. I here are still, however, seme accounts to come in and the executive decided to postpone any programme until these were received.
A large volume of correspondence in connection with the Australian visit was dealt with.
In connection with the request of the Thames -Rugby Union for assistance by the sending of a team to Tauranga, it was decided to find out to-day how many players would bo willing to make the- trip on September 14.
Arrangements for the visit of hj two Mount Eden teams were discussed and finalised.
