A striking view of the famous “Boston Stump,” the more familiar name of the historic church cf St. Botolph, at Boston, England, for the safety of which much anxiety is being felt as the result of the ravages of the death watch beetle.
THE CONEY ISLAND OF DEATH VALLEY, CALIFORNIA, a narrow gauge railway trestle over the valley to the borax mines. Innumerable tourists visit this locality each winter, and thus refute the old-time terror and despair of Death Valley.
