NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW LOAN of £11,500 over the Thames Valley Water Supply Special Rating Area for the purpose of reticulating and supplying with Water for Domestic and •Stock Purposes, from the Omahu Stream, the Dwelling-Houses and Farm Lands situated within the Rating Area. PURSUANT to Section 10 of “The ■ Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,” and amendments and regulations made thereeto, the provisions of Section 8 of “The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926,” having been complied with, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: (1) That it is the intention of the Thames County to borrow of £11,500 for the purpose of reticulating and supplying with Water for Domestic and Stock Purposes, the DwellingHouses and Farm Lands within the Thames Valley Water Supply Special Rating Area. 2. That, as security for the payment of interest, sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan, it is the intention of the said Council to make and levy a Special Rate of Two Pence in the *£ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the said Special Rating Area. 3. That it is the intention of the Council to pay out of the Loan the costs of raising the Loan. 4. That it is not the intention of the Council to pay out of the Loan the first year’s interest and sinking fund on the Loan. 5. That it is the intention of the Council to establish a sinking fund of one per cent, per annum for the repayment of the said Loan. G. That the said Loan is for a period of 36A years at a rate of interest not exceeding 5 h per centum per annum. 7. That the boundaries of the said Special Rating Area are as follows: All that area situated in Blocks XIII.. Thames Survey District, and Block IV, Waihou Survey District, within the following boundaries on the North by the Puriri Stream, on the South by Hikutaia Stream, on the West by Waihoti River, and on the East by a line to run apnroximately thirty chains east of Main Highway between Puriri and Hikutaia Streams.
