ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DIED OF INJURIES
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 10.
Injuries received by A. R. Olney, aged 57, who was knocked down by a motor-car in Trafalgar Street, Onehunga, last Saturday proved fatal yesterday. Olney was employed by the Auckland Transport Board, and was engaged m oiling the tram rails at the time of the accident.
A remarkable circumstance was that the motor-car concerned was driven by one of the officers of the permanent way department. Olney sustained concussion of the brain, and from the first his condition was seen to be grave. He was a married man, and resided in Inkerman Street, Onehunga.
