DOMINION FIRES.
LARGE DWELLING BURNT
(Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) FEILDING, July 29.
By fire at Colyton at midnight on Saturday a large dwelling owned and occupied by Thos. Ashworth was destroyed completely, and the Church of England building on the next section had a narrow escape. The flames had actually reached the church and the contents were being removed when a change of wind saved it, The house had not been occupied for. some days, the owner being away. His loss is a heavv one.
