OBITUARY.
CONSTABLE S. H. BISHOP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 27.
The death occurred yesferday afternoon of Constable S. H. Bishop, of Birkenhead, wher,e he has been stationed for several years. He had been on sick leave and had on operation last Saturday. No serious consequences were feared and his death came as a big shock to many friends. . Constable Sydney Hufistone Bishop' joined the Police Force in 1898, and came to Thames in 1918. He Was for many years in charge of the Thames South" station, being promoted to Birkenhead" in 1925. He' leaves a widow but no family. While in Thames he made many friends, who will greatly regret his' demise".
