Eden Road, on His night .of September 28, '"■orman Tinvcr.s (22). and Hov Edward Trask (22), were charged at the Police Court with robbery with pensonal violence and with stealing £6 in money, etc. Doth were further charged with the wrongful conversion of ■ a ear valued at £3OO. Trask alone was charged with stealing two gallons ol "etn-1. They were committed for trial on the major charge and each was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment ,r conversion, Trask also getting 14 days’ for the benzine t.l|ett. Joseph Henry Trask’ the father pi' Roy, was jointly charged with his son and Travers for unlawfully converting at Hamilton a car (hired at Auckland tho morning after the robbery) in which all three were subsequently arrested at Te Kuiti. They pleaded guilty and were 'Sentenced to six months therefore and an ■ additional thr -. months for obtaining £33/18/6 ,; .v means of valueless cheques.
