OTAGO ISSUES CHALLENGE

At a meeting of the Otago Yacht and
; Motor-Boat Association last night, it ' was decided to issue a challenge for : the Sanders Cup. Some discussion took place regardring th,e Cornwell Cup contest. f The unsatisfactory conclusion of the last
• contest was referred to, and the Association decided to take no part in „ a Cornwell Cup contest conducted by the Takapuna Boating Club. The president of the Association
: said the Sanders Cup contest was the premier event of the year, and he r thought it the duty of the Association to support it and help to keep it al---ways before the public. It was decided to sail three or more - tr|al races for the purpose of selecting - Otago.’s challenger for the cup.
