BUSH FIRES QUENCHED.
LOSSES NOT SO SEVERE.

The heavy rain yesterday guenched the scrub and log fires. An inspection of the properties affected reveals that the stock losses are much less -severe than was expected. The loss .in feed and fences is considerable.
