ACCIDENT TO ENGINE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 24.
The couplings of a ballast train broke this morning and the rear portion ran back, coll'ding with a shunting engine in the Ellerslie yard. One truck was derailed, but there was no delay to- traffic.
