OLD COUPLES’ DEATHS.

MR, AND MRS. W. HILL. An unusual circumstance is connected with the deaths of Mr. and Mrs. Hill, of Thames, who passed away yesterday within a few hours of one another. Tlie late 'Mr. William Hill, who was u well-known Thames identity, died in the Thames Hospital at the ripe age of 80. This morning his widow, Mrs. Sarah Jane Hill, also expired in the same institution within a very short time of her late husband’s death She is aged 79. Both old people were very wellknown in the district and their death in such touching circumstances is somewhat affecting. There are three children, Mr. William .Hill, and Mrs. H. Wallace, of Auckland, and Mrs. D. Donnelly, of Thames, The funeral is to take place on Sunday afternoon.
