SIDEY'S ABOMINATION. A DECISION REVERSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, March 30. A representative meeting of the Provincial Executive of * the Southern Hawke's Bay Farmers' Union reversed its -previous -deciscuj. daylight saving by carrying unanimously a resolution "That the abomination of Daylight Saving should cease." Speakers considered Sidey fime detrimental to rural communities. The meeting decided to urge the Dominion Executive to do all possible to get cheaper manuresv'for farmers, also to to arrange for a supply of seeds at the cheapest rate, and if possible, direct from the growers. Bepresentations are to be made to endeavour to have land iax made payable in February Givnultuneously with income tax. «-
