AT THE QUEEN'S.

' THE WONDER DOG. The story of a clog, who saves the lives of all on board the Limited is told in "The Outlaw," an F. 8.0. production starring Ranger, which is showing at the Queen's Theatre tonight. Ranger, with his master's sweetheart start out to warn the train that the bridge has been blown up beyond a dangerous curve, find it necessary to swim a treacherous current in order to reach the Limited before it is too late. How the dog is forced to make the death-defying plunge alone, and'flag the speeding train, is shown in a very thrilling manner, and forms the high-spot of excitement in a. picture which is fraught with gripping suspense. "EVES LEAVES." Leatrice Joy has nulled a. new one—even for Hollywood. She had 'a costume designed to suit her hair-cut, which, by the way. is unite boyish.

So Adrian, creator of costume confections for Cecil B. de Mille, abandoned the usual, lavish, glittering type of gown, and provided Leatrice with nothing more gorgeous than a pair of blue dungaree trousers, a .grey shirt, and a stocking cap. Thus clad, Leatrice appears in practically, all of "Eve's Leaves." a feature comedy with China for a setting, which will be shown at the Queen's Theatre on Saturday.

"THE MAGIC FLAME." Ronald Column and Vilma Hanky's latest starring vehicle, "The..-Magic Flame," opens an extended three-night season at the Queen's Theatre on/Monday. Preceding the picture is a brilliant song prelude, interpreted by Mr, Arthur Briggs and Mr.'Lionel Symons. Thames patrons who are conversant with Mr. Meikle's ability in respect to prologues and picture presentation, will undoubtedly take the opportunity of witnessing his effort next week. Usual prices are being charged.
