TOTAL AUCKLAND SALES. 46,861 BALES REALISE .£1,045,590. ~ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March _2S. For the season just closed, the receipts for wool sold under the hammer in Auckland amounted to nearly 40 per cent, greater than last season's. The completed figures for 1927-1928, with those for 1926-1927 in parenthe,gi?i are: -Bales offered, 47,070 (46,546); sold, 46,861 (45,590). The total value of the- wool sold was £1045,590 (£748,063), and the' average per bale' was £22/6/3 (£l6/8/2), or :15.43d. (11.59 d.) per lb.
