For the season just closed, the receipts for wool sold under the hammer in Auckland amounted to nearly 40 per cent, greater than last season's. The completed figures for 1927-1928, with those for 1926-1927 in parenthe,gi?i are: -Bales offered, 47,070 (46,546); sold, 46,861 (45,590).
