REFRACTORY ORES.
GERMAN MINING SCHEME. PREPARATIONS UNDER WAY. Although there has not been a great deal of publicity of late accorded the German project to mine refractory ores near Thames, it is nevertheless known that preparations are being quietly and effectively finalised, and visible evidence of activity is expected in the near future, although options on several valuable properties do not
expire until August. It is reported on very good authority that a sum of money, running into six figures, has been lodged in one of the Banks to finance the project.
An important announcement regarding,. the scheme is expected within a few days.
