TECHNICAL EDUCATION.

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. At the usual monthly meeting of the Thames Technical School Advisory Committee last week, Mr P. Jenkin presided in the absence of the president, Mr D. Mackay. The following attendances were re-ported:—Book-keeping, 17; dressmaking, 28; shorthand and typing, 15; invalid cooking, 5; plumbing, 6. It was further stated that the school buildings had recently been re-painted outside and in, and the ground retarred.

A new stove had been installed in the cooking room, by the. generosity of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board, and was of great assistance to the various classes.
