Mr. Stanley Jones, late of Waimaua, has been appointed schoolmaster 'at Tafaru School. > v Messrs. J. A. C. Baynes (Chief Inspector of Mines) and M. Paul (District Inspector of Mines) are visiting Thornes. Mr. H. T. Gililes, Crown Law Prosetor, Hamilton, has been in Thames for the past two days, and is staying at file Roval Hotel.
