Section 13, paragraph (c), of the Nurses’ and Midwives’ Registration Act, 1925, those women who are not registered as Midwives, but who desire to continue in practise as Maternity Nurses, can be registered as such if they prove to the satisfaction of the Nurses’ and Midwives' Registration Board that they have for not less than twelve months prior to Ist. January, 1926, been regularly engaged in practice as Maternity Nursesin New Zealand. They must apply for registration not later than the first day of January, 1927, forwarding the necessary certificates as to experience and enclosing a Post Office receipt for the registration fee of £l. Any person omitting to make such application will be, after that date, barred entirely from practising unless after undergoing .the necessary* course and passing the State Examination as prescribed by the Regulations under the above Act. All intending to register under this Section of the Act are urged to lodge their application for registration at once.
