WORKERS WANTED. . OPENING OF SEASON. The Thames Cricket Association met last evening, Mr. Gleeson presiding over an attendance of Messrs. Brokenshire, Wayne, Dare and Gibson. New Ground. The first business concerned playing area for the forthcoming season, and on the motion of Mr. Brokenshire, it ivas decided to empower Mr. Dare to arrange for the purchase of a shed, for the neAV playing ground (near the wharf), on AAdiich a concrete pitch is already being prepared.
