OBITUARY.
MRS. L. SOWMAN. Word was received at Thames yesterday of the death at Wellington of Mrs L. Sowman (nee Billiot.) The late Mrs Sowman was a niece .it Messrs. Bateman Brothers and Mrs. Johns, of Thames. She was liorn at Thames, where she s“pent the early years of her life. Her sudden death came as a great shock to her many relatives and friends. Her husbanl has a large hairdressing establishment in Cuba Street, Wellington. MRS. ODEUM. The death occurred at Omahu this morning- of Mrs Odium, wife of Mr W. Odium, Senr., -the well-known farmer of Omahu. The late Mrs Odium resided in Paeroa for many years prior to marrying Mr Odium some years ago.
