latfe Justice Sir John Salmond. There was a large attendance of the Bar, presided over! by the Chiel Justice.
M'lie Attorney-General, Sir Francis Bell voiced regret at the death of Sir John Salmond, and spoke in highly eulogistic terms of him as a jurist and an author. His genius had stamped itself on the statutes of »tlie country. Sir Robert Stout added' a tribute. He said Sir John Salmond’,s last work on centners ’when ’published would be one of the. most valuable treaties in English history.
