MYSTERY OF A SKELETON.

FOUND NEAR THE RAILWAY.

A WELLINGTON RESIDENT.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 29.

There is a probability that the skeleton found near the railway line between Hinuera and Okoroire, is that of a Wellington resident, Charles OttOiPossolt. He was a Prussian, aged 52 years of age, who came to New Zealand iri 1902. Mrs Posselt says he looked younger than he really was, and all indications point to the remains being his. He disappeared in February of last year, and the police were unable .to trace him. He had at several times threatened to commit suicide and after he had been away a few weeks his family felt sure he had carried out his threat.
