RUSSIA SUSPICIOUS.
SAYS FRANCE WANTS WAR. AGAINST THE SOVIET. (A. & N.Z. Cable.) LONDON, April 22. The Daily Express’ Moscow correspondent reports that the official Soviet organ, Isvestia, declares that there is unmistakable evidence that France is actively preparing for war against the Soviet Republic, and ■ •barges M. Poincare with striving to hinder the success of the AngloRussian conference, and encouraging hostile manoeuvres in China, Poland, Latvia and Turkey. Also with preparing the Franeo-Rounianian alliance and undertaking to re-organise the Roumanian army, to which France contributed 400 aeroplanes. The Isvestia adds that these are clearly intended to bombard the Ukrainian and Russian cities.
